Legislation for Alternative -Transportation Infrastructure.

In Toronto there is no transportation balance because there has not been Mobility management to decrease auto-travel gridlock and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. There has been no vision on Alternative/Complementary transportation and the economic, health, environmental, and social benefits to society. Both levels of government have overlooked and undervalued costs and benefits, in conventional transport economic evaluation.

Many have felt this proposal is based on measuring a person's carbon footprint, instead we are helping people estimate the economic and environmental benefits they can expect to achieve by switching to a new light bulb, showerhead or even by adding a rain barrel.

Lightweight Rooftop Vegetable Gardens

Objective

The objective of Rooftop Gardens Inc. is to design and build year-round rooftop vegetable gardens that are lightweight so they don’t exceed the structural capacity of standard flat rooftops. These gardens will serve private citizens, restaurants, community groups and schools by providing local, organic produce on site for kitchens and nutrition programs.

In recent years consumer sentiment has increasingly been leaning towards more environmentally responsible and sustainable products. As a response to this growing trend all the major car manufacturing companies have been working to develop their own electric cars, with a number of models already on the road and additional ones being added quarterly. By the end of 2013, every major car manufacturer is expected to have their own electric vehicle in production.
